Reports and exporting your records

The Reports screen

Pick a range (This month, Last month, This quarter, Last quarter, This year, Last year or Custom) and see income, expenses, deductions and net income for the period, a monthly summary, business versus personal, top spending categories, and a mileage summary. With more than one business you also get totals per business. The web app's Reports page shows the same, with Download PDF, Download CSV, Download Excel and Print.

Export from Reports

The Export button offers:

• Export PDF: a financial report for the period you picked.
• Category summary (CSV): year-to-date totals, totals by business, the monthly summary and category totals.
• Transaction line items (CSV): one row per transaction with date, merchant, category, tax bucket, type, amount, business or personal, business percentage, deductible amount, business and notes.

The Deductions PDF

On the Deductions screen, Export PDF builds a deductions report for the selected year and business, by category and by month, with the mileage and home office blocks. Choose Include receipts to add a page of links to each receipt image, or No receipts.

Export tax records (for your accountant)

Settings → Data → Export tax records (web: Settings → Export records). Choose the year, the business and Excel or PDF, then Generate. The Excel file has one sheet each for income, expenses, owner transfers, owner salary, per-business and per-account totals, mileage, home office, reconciliation, late receipts and all transactions, plus a cover sheet. If your accountant is linked to the CPA portal they can pull this themselves.

The two-factor check

Every export asks you to verify with your authenticator app first (Verify to export on the web). If you have not enrolled, RevvFi walks you through it. See Security, two-factor and Face ID.

When you can export

Any time during your subscription and during the 30-day read-only period after it ends. Deleting your account can also email you CSV copies first. See Cancel your subscription.
