Invite from the app
- Open Settings → Account → Invite Accountant.
- Enter your accountant's email and tap Send Invite. They receive an email, {Your name} has shared their RevvFi account with you, with an Accept Invitation button that creates (or signs into) their CPA login at app.getrevvapp.com.
- The screen now shows a 9-digit code under Share this code with your accountant. Send it to them separately (text, phone, in person). They enter it once in the portal with Link a client by code.
The code is valid for 24 hours from the last time you sent or resent the invite. If it lapses, Resend invite email issues a fresh one. The Settings row reads CPA Invite Pending until they link and CPA Access afterwards.
What your accountant can see and do
They work in the same web app, pointed at your books: transactions, deductions, receipts, mileage, invoices, bills, inventory, and a full accounting layer with a general ledger, journal entries, fixed assets, bank reconciliation, period close, financial statements, reports, 1099 vendor tracking, notes and an activity log. They can ask you for documents through Accountant requests. They cannot see your Revvy AI Memory, and they do not get Revvy or Agent Connect on your account.
Accountant requests
Accountant requests in your profile menu is a two-way inbox. Either side can start a thread (What is this about? and a message), attach up to five photos or PDFs of 10 MB each per message, and link a thread to a transaction. Your accountant gets an email and can reply from the portal. Your accountant has a question under Settings → Notifications tells you when they write.
Revoke access
Long-press the CPA Access row in Settings and choose Revoke, or open it and tap Regenerate Code, which revokes the current link and issues a new code. A pending invite is cancelled by long-pressing it → Cancel Invite. Accepting a link on the accountant's side requires two-factor authentication on your account.
For accountants: the portal is described at getrevvapp.com/cpas.
Email us what you were trying to do and what you saw. A person reads every message.
