Creating a quote
Open Quotes from your profile menu (the web calls them Estimates) and tap New quote.
- Quote for: client name, and email (optional).
- Line items, with Add saved item for things you quote often. Saved items and your logo live under Quote settings.
- Valid until (optional).
- Request a deposit: Off, 25%, 50% or a custom percentage.
- Balance invoice: either save it as a draft to send when the work is done, or send it with the deposit invoice when the client accepts, with a Balance due in days after acceptance.
- Memo and Business.
Tap Save quote. Sales tax can be set on the web; quotes created on the phone carry no tax.
Sending and the accept link
Sharing a quote from the phone sends Review and accept: getrevvapp.com/q/… followed by the PDF. The link works until the end of the Valid until date, or for 60 days if none is set. Creating an accept link requires finished payment setup for that business, because acceptance creates an invoice. On the client's page they enter their full name and tap Accept quote or Decline.
What happens when the client accepts
The quote becomes Accepted and RevvFi sends the invoice automatically (the deposit invoice if you asked for a deposit, plus the balance invoice if you chose to send it on acceptance). The quote then shows as Invoiced. If the automatic send fails you get a quote accepted, action needed notification. A decline marks the quote Declined and notifies you.
Converting by hand
On a quote, Convert to invoice creates and sends the invoice; it asks for a client email if the quote has none. You can also set a quote's status yourself to Draft, Sent, Accepted or Declined, and Remind {client} re-shares the PDF when a quote has sat unanswered.
Statuses
Draft, Sent, Accepted, Declined, Invoiced (shown as Converted on the web) and Expired. Settings → Notifications has Quote accepted or declined.
